Choosing the best geometry in microorifice meter design

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

My study subject in Comsol is Microorifice meter design. I did lots of drawings for different dimensions such as various orifice diameter, orifce length, etc. and I found lots of velocity field profiles, but now, I could not know how can I decide which is the more efficient one? Can I decide the best geometry and dimensions due to velocity field distribution or max. Velocity field, if yes how? I will be very pleased if someone can help me. Many thanks!
